Ink Refill Bottles for Epson WorkForce ET 4750 EcoTank Printer

The Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank is a powerful, all-in-one inkjet printer designed for small to medium-sized businesses and home offices. It offers a combination of cost-effective printing, high-volume capabilities, and advanced features like wireless connectivity and a large paper capacity. As part of Epson's EcoTank series, it uses a refillable ink tank system, which provides significant savings on ink costs compared to traditional cartridge-based printers.

Key Features:

1. EcoTank Refillable Ink System:

   • The ET-4750 comes with Epson's EcoTank technology, which uses Ink Refill Bottles T502 to refill the large, easy-to-refill ink tanks rather than traditional ink cartridges. This drastically reduces the cost per page and the need for frequent ink replacements.

   • The printer includes up to two years of ink in the box, making it an excellent value for users who do a lot of printing. When it's time to refill the tanks, the ink bottles are affordable and easy to use.

2. High-Quality Print:

   • Print Resolution: The ET-4750 supports a maximum print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, which is more than sufficient for business documents, text, and color graphics. However, it may not be the best choice for those requiring ultra-high-quality photo prints.

   • Print Speed: The ET-4750 offers a black-and-white print speed of up to 15 pages per minute (ppm) and up to 8 ppm for color prints, which is relatively fast for an inkjet printer, making it suitable for businesses with moderate to high-volume printing needs.

3. All-in-One Functionality:

   • The ET-4750 is an all-in-one printer that can print, scan, copy, and fax. This makes it a versatile tool for everyday office tasks.

   • The printer is equipped with a flatbed scanner that offers an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi, providing high-quality scans.

   • One of the key features of the ET-4750 is the inclusion of a 30-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) for scanning or copying multi-page documents, which increases efficiency by allowing unattended scanning and copying.

4. Paper Handling:

   • The ET-4750 features a 250-sheet paper tray, which is larger than many comparable models. This is ideal for businesses that need to print large volumes of documents without constantly reloading paper.

   • It also includes a 30-sheet output tray, which helps manage prints once they’ve been processed.

5. Wireless and Mobile Connectivity:

   • The printer has built-in Wi-Fi for wireless printing from computers, smartphones, and tablets.

   • It supports mobile printing solutions like Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and Epson iPrint, which makes it easy to print directly from mobile devices.

   • The printer also supports Wi-Fi Direct, which allows you to print without a router or network connection.

6. LCD Display:

   • The ET-4750 comes with a 2.4-inch color LCD screen, which simplifies navigation and helps manage print jobs, check ink levels, and troubleshoot common issues without the need for a computer.

7. Cost Efficiency:

   • Thanks to the EcoTank refillable ink system, the ET-4750 has a low cost per page and a high yield before needing a refill. This makes it a great choice for offices or businesses with a high print volume.

   • The printer's ink bottles are relatively inexpensive, and the high-capacity ink tanks can print thousands of pages before needing to be refilled.

Advantages:

• Cost-Effective: Using the T502 Ink Refill Bottles to refill the EcoTank refillable ink system offers significant savings on ink costs compared to traditional cartridge-based printers, especially for high-volume printing.

• Large Paper Capacity: The 250-sheet paper tray reduces the need for frequent paper refills, making it more efficient for busy offices.

• ADF for Multi-Page Scanning/Copying: The 50-sheet ADF improves productivity by enabling automatic scanning and copying of multiple pages.

• All-in-One Functionality: It’s a versatile machine that can print, scan, copy, and fax, making it ideal for businesses that need a single device to handle a variety of tasks.

• Wireless Printing: The printer supports Wi-Fi and mobile printing, allowing for flexible printing options from various devices.

Limitations:

• No Duplex Printing: Although the printer is efficient in many ways, it lacks automatic duplex (two-sided) printing, which could be a drawback for users who need to print large volumes of double-sided documents.

• Resolution for Photos: While the 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution is great for most business documents and color prints, it might not be sufficient for users who require high-quality photo printing.

• Relatively Slow Color Printing: Color printing speed is slower compared to black-and-white prints, which may not be ideal for users who need to print color documents in high volumes.

Conclusion:

The Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank is an excellent choice for businesses or home offices looking for an affordable, efficient, and reliable all-in-one printer. With its low cost per page, large paper capacity, and advanced features like wireless printing and an automatic document feeder (ADF), it’s a strong contender in the market for high-volume printing needs. If your business requires a device that can handle printing, scanning, copying, and faxing at a low operational cost, the ET-4750 is a highly capable option. However, if automatic duplex printing or ultra-high-quality photo prints are essential, you might need to explore other options.
